The crew at PPG packed up and relocated to Eastern Creek last weekend for the Superlap World Time Attack Challenge. The Pfitzner trade stand was extremely busy throughout the event and we would like to thank all that came and said hello. We will definitely be back next year!
 Whilst at the track we were also fortunate to see the Japanese entry in the PRO Class, CYBER EVO (above) take out the PRO CLASS using a PPG EVO GROUP N straight cut dog transmission (pictured left).
Not only did the EVO finish at the front of the field, but they recorded a stunning time of 1:30:5870sec around the famous Eastern Creek track.
With a time like this, it is no wonder the CYBER EVO team is regarded as one of the top time attack vehicle in the world, and as a sponsor, Pfitzner would congratulate the team for all its hard work.
Meanwhile while we were enjoying the CYBER EVO's success in Sydney, EVO X's running with PPG gearsets were dominating the Rally Hokkaido in Japan. Series leader Katsu Taguchi performed strongly in his MRF Tyres Mitsubishi EVO X to claim victory, 9 seconds in front of Hiroshi Yanagisawa in the Cusco EVO X. Indian driver Gaurav Gill finished in third place in the second MRF Tyres EVO X.
All three EVO's use the ultra-reliable PPG EVO X 5speed straight cut dog gearset (pictured below), the very same gearset that is used by current North American Rally Champion, ACP Racing.

 All the hard work that SpeedTech Motorsport (STM) in NZ have put into their project DS9 has paid off, with the crew recording a remarkable 8.34 @ 169.7MPH at the strip. With the extreme HP this Mitsubishi EVO 9 puts out, the drivetrain needs to be bulletproof, so the guys at STM went with the 1000HP+ rated PPG EVO 4-9 (1st-4th) straight cut drag set with billet selector forks.  Long time friends of PPG, Norris Prayoonto and Jonathan Reynolds from Prayoonto Racing have done it again with the Honda Integra, building on their already enviable world class reputation. Recently at the NRSCA Florida they set a new benchmark time of 8.76 @ 175.91MPH running with the PPG K-SERIES 1st-4th straight cut drag set.
